Lord God, my delight is in you. How do I know that? How can I express it? Well, just for starters, I stop and stare at things like the trees bending in the wind, the sunset when it’s full of color, and the moon whenever I see it. I could go on and on with all kinds of things that make me wonder and contemplate you, your nature, your glory and your lovingkindness. Just like there is no end that I can see to all the wonders of this world, from the giant things like the Grand Canyon all the way to the microscopic machines of life like DNA, there is no end to the awe and wonder of you, and all you are. I can’t explain you, nor can I comprehend you, but I can appreciate you, love you, serve you, and believe in you. I can follow you by following your example and your words and by doing my best to imitate you.
John Piper talks about being so happy in God that one forgets his own self. I can see how that happens – it’s happened to me a few times especially. I don’t know that this would be anything that could easily be reproduced on demand, but there are many times when just thinking about what God has done makes my heart so content that I can’t help but forget everything else.

“Because children have abounding vitality, because they are in spirit fierce and free, therefore they want things repeated and unchanged. They always say, ‘Do it again”; and the grown-up person does it again until he is nearly dead. For grown-up people are not strong enough to exult in monotony. But perhaps God is strong enough to exult in monotony. It is possible that God says every morning, ‘Do it again’ to the sun; and every evening, ‘Do it again’ to the moon. It may not be automatic necessity that makes all daisies alike; it may be that God makes every daisy separately, but has never got tired of making them. It may be that He has the eternal appetite of infancy; for we have sinned and grown old, and our Father is younger than we.”

Apple’s iTunes has sold its 10 billionth tune.
Apple said Thursday that its online music store crossed the threshold Wednesday when 71-year-old Louie Sulcer of Woodstock, Ga., bought “Guess Things Happen That Way” by Johnny Cash.
iTunes had promoted the 10 billion mark and celebrated the milestone by giving Sulcer a $10,000 iTunes gift card.
